From Trials to Triumph: The Heart Behind the Ministry

My journey to founding Joy and Peace Community Development Corporation was born from a place of deep personal struggle. There was a time when I almost faced homelessness in a foreign country, holding a sick child in my arms with nothing more than a coin purse full of change. I remember the feeling of purchasing a pack of crackers and a cup of water, praying for strength and provision. It was in those moments of desperation that God planted the vision of this ministry in my heart.

I know what it feels like to go without a full meal or warm clothes. That is why I am so passionate about feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, and offering hope to those who feel lost. My mission is deeply personal because it is built on real experiences of pain, resilience, and God's incredible provision. When I walk into a prison or meet someone in need, I carry that same compassion and understanding, ministering to their hearts just as much as their physical needs.

Today, through this ministry, I live out my motto: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Every towel I sew, every meal I serve, and every prayer I lift up is a testament to the miracles God has performed in my life. I was called to this assignment, and I embrace it with joy, peace, and unshakable love for every soul I encounter.
